  • What’s the difference between flat rate and hourly rate services?
    For a flat rate service, your cleaner will stay at your home until a standard house clean according to the MAID SPARKLING has been completed. For an hourly rate service, your cleaner will only stay at your home for the time duration you booked in. We consider hourly services “partial” cleaning services, for when you need a certain set of tasks done or a touch-up job.
  • Do I get the same cleaner every time?
    If you book in for a regular cleaning service with us, you will have a permanent cleaner assigned to your bookings. However, if you regularly change your schedule then there’s a risk of conflicting with your cleaner’s timetable. If your regular cleaner is sick on the day of your service, we’ll offer a replacement schedule.
  • How do I know my cleaner is trustworthy?
    We take the hiring of cleaners extremely seriously. Our recruitment process has multiple steps involved in order to ensure the new hire is both a culture fit and an experienced cleaner. All of our house cleaners also have valid police checks prior to performing any services with us.
  • Do you provide the equipment and cleaning products?
    Our Field Staff are permanent employees, therefore they have a full set of cleaning equipment and chemicals to use for services. We’ve carefully hand-selected these products to ensure they are the highest quality, so we can deliver the best cleaning service possible. However, if you prefer for us to use your cleaning products instead, please let us know and we’ll happily do so!
  • Do I have to be home for the cleaning service?
    Nope! It is quite helpful to be home for your first service, so you can communicate expectations to your cleaner. However it’s not necessary, especially after the first service. You can send a message to our office team or leave a list with specific cleaning tasks at the property if needed. As long as we have clear instructions on how to access your home, you can trust that our cleaner will let themselves in, do a thorough job, and lock up at the end of the service.
